Students reconnect through Mav Electives

After winter break, students were excited to return to Maverick Electives and reconnect through creativity, collaboration and learning.

  • History in the Making (Art): Students brought creativity to life by drawing and watercolor-painting donut designs that filled the room with smiles.
  • Grub & Games: Students practiced strategy and teamwork during a friendly game of Sequence.
  • Strategy Board Games: Laughter and encouragement filled the room as students enjoyed a variety of games, including Trouble, Jenga, Uno and more.
  • KAY Club: Students worked together to remove Christmas decorations throughout the school, helping transition the building into the new season. Once finished, they enjoyed time playing games together in the classroom.
  • Cricut Design: Students designed, cut, weeded and applied vinyl, proudly watching their projects come together.
  • Chill & Doodle: Students relaxed while drawing and coloring, taking time to enjoy and share their artwork.
  • Coding: Students worked quietly and with focus, showing determination and problem-solving skills as they built their coding projects.
